87th Fire Investigation I School | April 28 – May 9, 2025

The Michigan State Police Fire Investigation Unit is hosting the 87th Fire Investigation I School, a nationally accredited ten-day training program designed to build a strong foundation in fire investigation. This course combines classroom instruction and hands-on training, covering fire chemistry, origin and cause determination, arson motives, explosions, and more.

Pre-course work on CFI Trainer is required. Registration must be completed in MI-TRAIN (course code 1074243). Space is limited, and all registrants will be placed on a waitlist until final selections are made.
